GRIDS PREMIUM HOTEL KUMAMOTO is an all-private room hotel launched as the premium brand of the 'GRIDS' hostel chain. Located in the heart of Kumamoto City, it is approximately a 3-minute walk from the Kumamoto City Tram 'Karashimacho Station' and about a 6-minute walk from Sakuramachi Bus Terminal, making it an ideal location for both sightseeing and business.

The interior design is inspired by the Kumamoto dialect word 'sumu' (meaning to dive into water), creating a calm atmosphere reminiscent of clear water where time flows slowly. Guest rooms feature amenities that balance environmental consciousness with comfort, such as bedding made from recycled marine plastic.

For breakfast, guests can enjoy a Japanese and Western-style buffet with approximately 50 items, featuring local delicacies such as horse meat, karashi renkon (mustard lotus root), and Kumamoto ramen. The lounge is open to guests for free in the afternoon, providing access to Wi-Fi and drinks. It is the perfect hotel not only for tourists but also for workations and long-term stays.
