Momijiya Honkan Takao Sanso is a quiet ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) nestled in the lush, natural surroundings of Takao, in the northwestern part of Kyoto City. In this serene, Japanese-style space surrounded by Kitayama cedars, you can enjoy authentic Kyoto cuisine featuring seasonal ingredients, accompanied by the scenic beauty of Kyoto throughout the year.

The entire building exudes a pure Japanese aesthetic, and the relaxing guest rooms are equipped with atmospheric semi-open-air baths and private baths. You can spend a peaceful moment healing the fatigue of your journey. The rooms are perfect for trips with spouses, families, or friends.

Takao, a popular sightseeing destination, is easily accessible from central Kyoto, making it a perfect hideaway location for those who want to escape the daily grind and spend some quiet time. Please fully experience the charm of Takao in every season—the fresh greenery of spring, the murmuring of the river in summer, the autumn leaves, and the silence of winter.
